FLINT TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Despite the weather, the 8th Annual Flint's Finest Hoops Classic was able to dribble on Sunday.

With more than 60 teams, it's become one of the largest boys’ basketball events in Genesee County

those who participated in the event say basketball is in their blood.

"It was always my dream to do an event in the Flint area that actually brought people into our city um which could support the things we do and so there's not a lot of big basketball tournaments and events in our city and so having an event like this here it makes people aware of our city," said Flint's Finest Basketball Club president Jerome Adams.

The winners were able to walk away with some impressive hardware.
