Tip leads to arrest of 2 selling fentanyl

HURON COUNTY, Mich. -Two men in Bad Axe have been arrested and arraigned for selling fentanyl, according to the Huron County Sheriff’s Office.

Police were tipped off about the sale because it was believed to be heroin, but further investigating determined what was sold was actually fentanyl.

Police say 43-year-old Jason Loughner posted a $7,500 bond and was released from jail, but that 26-year-old Joshua Nowiski remains in jail for the felony charge and is also being held without bond.

The sale is still under investigation.
