FENTON, Mich - The Rock Church of Fenton announces a Christmas Eve gathering in the wood.

"This year the Rock Church of Fenton is looking at Christmas Eve as a time for peace and hope. As we finish out a very challenging year, we wanted to remind people that there is a message of hope that goes far beyond the Christmas Season," said Neil Thompson, Director of Ministry Operations.

Director of Ministry Operations Neile Thompson says, "In years past, we have hosted large indoor gatherings that allowed people to celebrate Christmas. This year we want to celebrate still but do it in a safe manner. To do this, we will be hosting an outdoor Christmas Eve gathering in the woods. This will be hosted on the Rock church’s 52-acre piece of land. It will feature Christmas songs, lights, warming areas, live reindeer, and a message of hope."

The gathering begins at 7 pm and is located at 11400 Linden Rd Fenton, Mi.

Thompson says for those unable to attend for whatever reason, they will be broadcasting live on YouTube. The video can be found by clicking here

On Christmas Day you can watch a one hour special on The CW46 at 11 am called "Christmas at Home".

Thompson says, the Christmas Day special will focus on the message of hope we can find during this Christmas season.
