UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - A resource fair was held at Saginaw Valley State University Wednesday.

It was hosted by the colleges LGBTQ office, the Pride Center, after the fair organizers held a discussion on being out and proud in the workforce.

NBC25/FOX66 anchor and reporter Femi Redwood participated along with employees from Dow and GM.

They gave advice to college students on how to navigate coming out at work and they spoke about the value of visibility.

The event comes as the SVSU Pride Center celebrates its four-year birthday Tuesday.
