SAGINAW TOWNSHIP, Mich. - The Saginaw Township Community Schools has made a decision, on a new superintendent.

At a special meeting, the school board decided on Millington Superintendent Bruce Martin.

Martin takes the place of former superintendent Doug Trombly, who left the position back in May.

"I think the board went through a number of reasons why Bruce Martin would be an excellent superintendent for us but it all comes back to being child centered, really bringing everybody back to the student teacher relationship that schools are all about," said school board president Mike Colucci.

The Saginaw Township School Board will meet again on September 24.
