Crash in Saginaw County kills one person, closes intersection

North-and southbound M-47, also known as Midland Road, is back open at the Tittabawassee Road intersection.

It was closed for several hours following a crash.

According to police on-scene the crash happened at 11:57 pm Wednesday night.

Police tells us two people were riding bikes when one was struck by a southbound semi-truck.

The person struck was killed.

This intersection in Saginaw County is where Saginaw Township, Thomas Township, and Tittabawasee Township all intersect.

The Michigan State Police along with the Saginaw County Sheriff, Saginaw Township police, Tittabawassee Township Fire Department, and the Michigan Department of Transportation are all on-scene.
