Spicer's Orchard in Hartland, near Fenton, had over 7,000 apples stolen from one of their orchards.

That equates to over $14,000 worth of apples.

The owners say they don't have insurance because this sort of crime has never happened to them before.

WDIV is reporting that tire tracks found in the grass mean that two or three trucks were used to haul away the apples. There are trail cameras in the orchard, but they are used during hunting season and so are pointed away from the crops.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the Linden Police Department at 810-735-5454.
