FLINT, Mich. - People in Flint taking part in a nationwide rally in defense of the Robert Mueller investigation.

It comes in response to President Trump's firing of Attorney General Jeff Sessions and the appointment of Matthew Whitaker as acting AG.

Whitaker has openly criticized the special counsel investigation into Russia meddling in the 2016 election and will now oversee the investigation.

The nonprofit progressive group Move On organized the "nobody is above the law" rallies.

Activists along Saginaw Street say while it’s a small rally, it only takes one person to make a difference.

“Paul Revere was one person that did a ride and made a huge impact in our country,” said one protester.

“Trump is going to see all of the people across the nation. a handful there, a handful there, and a handful there make up a whole heck of a lot of people,” said another.

There was a similar rally Thursday in Saginaw.
