MOUNT MORRIS, Mich. - What is a Memorial Day without parades?
That was the scene in Mount Morris Monday morning.
It all started on Saginaw Street as people made their way down to the south city limits.
We spoke with one veteran at the parade about what this day means to him.
"Well I've got my uniform up there on my windshield, and they're reminded of why they're free and the price that was paid for it. Freedom's not free, it costs a lot of young men and young women their lives. And I'd just like them to know that, and understand, and to honor the young men that are there even today."
