ISABELLA COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) — Michigan got hammered with snow and ice over the past week, prompting hundreds of schools, including colleges, across the state to close.
But, that didn't stop one Central Michigan University Baseball player from getting out on the field to practice before the season opener.
Sophomore outfielder Chase Rollin laced up his hockey skates, put on his baseball glove and went to practice on CMU's iced over Theunissen Stadium.
The Chippewas are scheduled to played the Troy University Trojans in Troy, Alabama on Friday, February 15.
Rollin's video has more than one million views on Twitter, nearly 900 retweets and more than 4,500 likes.
