ROSCOMMON COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- A popular northern Michigan winter festival will not be happening in 2021.
According to the Houghton Lake Chamber of Commerce, the 2021 Tip-Up Town USA has been changed to a weekend in February due to coronavirus restrictions.
The festival, originally scheduled for January 16 and 17, will now be held on February 27 and 28.
A Facebook post on the chamber's page states the change was made due to the state's restrictions on the number of people allowed to gather for an outdoor event.
On Friday, the state health department extended the restrictions until January 15.
