The word "cancer" can be scary, especially with pets, but in this segment we'll show you how even cancer can't stop some dogs from living full, exciting lives.

Five years ago Ozzy, who was a foster pet at a golden retriever rescue, was facing surgery to repair his knee.

Instead of a torn ligament, vets discovered something much more serious.

Ozzy had bone cancer- osteosarcoma.

His foster mom, Lynette Baumann was worried.

The only way to get rid of the cancer, was to amputate Ozzy's leg- he took it like a champ.

Today, Ozzy is cancer free, and living the good life.
